Te āheinga: The opportunity

We are seeking a Casual Lecturer to support practicum placements and teaching within our Early Childhood Education programme. This role involves working closely with students and early childhood centres to ensure high-quality learning experiences during practicum. You'll be part of a passionate team committed to nurturing the next generation of educators.

This is a casual role, ideal for someone with flexibility and a strong background in early childhood education.

He kōrero mōu: About you

You'll bring:

A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education
Registration with a professional body
Advanced communication skills and a collaborative approach.
A strong understanding of te Reo Māori, tikanga Māori, and kaupapa Māori values—or a willingness to learn.
Experience supporting diverse learners and creating inclusive environments.
Practical experience in vocational education or early childhood settings.
A commitment to continuous professional learning and reflective practice.
Recent experience within a Aotearoa New Zealand Early Childhood context.
