Opportunity for Hood/Bonnet Design Engineer

Experience: 4 to 8 years

Job description:
• Experience in Hood/Bonnet Design & Development at Automobile OEM around 4 to 8 years of experience.
• Develop and refine 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for hood outer panels, inner reinforcements, hinges, latches, and strikers
• Ensure compliance with pedestrian protection regulations and front crash safety standards.
• Collaborate with teams in BIW, sealing, latching, thermal management, and styling to ensure proper integration
• Strong knowledge of tooling feasibility, material selection (steel, aluminum, composites), and manufacturing processes.
• Candidate should be experienced in Catia and PLM software’s like Team center.
• Sound knowledge of engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFA etc.
• Good technical knowledge of automotive Sheet metal parts, manufacturing and assembly -process.
• Should be able to prepare & deliver presentations of the concepts/master section.
• Should be able to do tolerance stack up & GD&T added advantage.
• Hand on experience in Part development/supplier interaction added advantage.

Educational Qualifications:
• B.E (Mechanical / Automobile) with 4-8 Years of experience.
