HEO 6 Base Salary $99,455 - $107,216 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity


At the University of Sydney, we are in a period of exciting and significant investment in our Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and in order to deliver on the University’s ambitious strategic plan, we are looking for a Manager Support Officer to be part of a team providing administrative support to staff in our schools.

The successful candidate will be an expert in University systems, ensuring compliance with university process.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

manage the delivery of daily administration activities and services, providing guidance to colleagues on university processes, ensuring high quality, efficient administrative support is provided in a pro-active manner to staff
resolve complex matters that may arise with discretion, tact and diplomacy when communicating, utilising extensive experience and knowledge of University policy and practice
initiate and develop professional relationships with faculty staff, university services and other internal stakeholders and contribute positively to the team environment
review processes regularly and makes suggestions to improve these where necessary
implement approved modifications and streamline processes where possible.
About you

administrative experience in a tertiary organisation, working knowledge of academic institutions, structures and the higher education sector
previous experience working in a customer service environment
experience and/or knowledge of Unibuy, Concur and Workday systems is preferred.
