Scicluna’s Real Food Merchants was established in 1963 as a family business and has grown to become one of Melbourne’s leading retail and wholesale food outlets.

Scicluna’s provides the highest quality fresh fruit and vegetables to our wholesale and retail customers along with a selection of grocery and specialty products.

We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable/Accounts Assistant to join our friendly admin team in Dandenong South. This is a part time position for 24-26 hours per week. Work hours will be agreed with the right candidate.

You will be responsible for :

Accounts Receivable- record/reconcile payments, follow up on overdue/debtor payments, maintain accurate records
Ad hoc accounts receivable tasks
Liaising with customers & Sales team by phone & email
data entry of matching purchase orders to supplier invoices
Support accounts payable -processing of invoices
Other administration duties as required
You will have:

Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable role
Experience using an accounting package (we use MYOB Advanced)
Accurate accounts receivable and customer record keeping
Debt collection by communicating with customers via phone & email to recover overdue accounts , generate reminder notices and collection letters
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to learn new tasks
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
Investigate and resolve customer queries
Good Excel skills
Good data entry skills
Ability to work within a team environment
