With over 25 stores across Asia and a growing footprint in Australia, 180 Popcorn is known for its unique flavour range and commitment to clean, health-conscious ingredients. Our Melbourne-based office leads franchise development and operational support for the region.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee the administration, review, and management of commercial agreements critical to our franchise operations. This role directly supports the Director and is responsible for high-level contract management, including reviewing, negotiating, and implementing variations across our franchise network.

You will act as the primary authority within the business for contract risk assessment, compliance oversight, and contractual liaison with local and overseas stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Manage franchise, lease, supplier, and service contracts across the business, ensuring terms reflect commercial objectives and regulatory requirements.
Support contract negotiations with franchisees, landlords, and vendors, including handling renewals, amendments, and variations.
Coordinate with legal, accounts, HR, and operations teams to ensure accurate implementation of contract terms and obligations.
Maintain oversight of the company’s contract register, tracking key dates, obligations, and risks.
Provide commercial insights and contract summaries to management, and assist with issue resolution where needed.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel to manage contract risk and ensure ongoing compliance.
What We’re Looking For

Prior experience in contract administration, commercial coordination, or franchise operations.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret contract terms, manage supplier and franchise agreements, and support cost-effective decision-making.
Background in business, commerce, or finance is highly regarded due to the role’s focus on financial terms, supplier cost structures, and performance-based contract tracking.
Ability to manage multiple contracts across leasing, procurement, staffing, and franchise operations.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in document handling and contract recordkeeping.
Strong organisational and communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and briefings for management.
Proficiency in both English and Cantonese/Mandarin is an advantage for dealing with overseas partners.
