Associate Lawyer

Job description
We are seeking an Associate Lawyer in Prince George, BC. This role involves providing legal advice, representing clients in court, preparing legal documents, and conducting legal research. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a variety of legal matters while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide legal advice and representation to clients.
• Prepare and review legal documents.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
• Represent clients confidently in court proceedings.
• Manage various legal matters in compliance with legal standards.

Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience or understanding in at least one area of law such as estate litigation, wills and powers of attorney, real estate, corporate/commercial transactions, commercial or civil litigation, insurance defence, family law, corporate filings, or related fields.
