Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Journeyman Carpenters to perform general rough carpentry tasks on commercial and residential construction sites in Calgary. You’ll be responsible for framing, sheathing, and other structural work, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship while collaborating with other trades to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Perform rough carpentry tasks, including framing, backing, sheathing, and structural assembly for commercial and residential projects.
Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to execute accurate work.
Install wooden structures, such as walls, floors, and roofs, according to specifications.
Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and other trades to ensure project coordination.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements:

Journeyman Carpenter certification with 5+ years of experience.
Proven expertise in general rough carpentry on commercial and residential sites.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Safety tickets (e.g., CSTS, WHMIS, FallPro) are an asset.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
