Role overview
We’re seeking an experienced Instructional Designer / Curriculum Developer to transform our PCC‑approved Marketing and Business course outlines into polished teaching packages. You won’t be required to teach—though future teaching opportunities may arise—and should ideally bring existing, ready‑to‑use materials for marketing and business topics.
Key responsibilities
Design full course kits (slide decks, instructor guides, student workbooks, quizzes) for topics such as Marketing Fundamentals, Digital Marketing Strategies, Sales & Customer Relations, Business Planning, and Entrepreneurship
Align all content with Ontario private career college regulations and current industry practices
Adapt and enhance any proprietary materials you already have, tailoring them to our brand, learning outcomes, and assessment needs
Work closely with program coordinators to define learning objectives, case studies, and project‑based assignments
Update and refine materials based on feedback and changes in marketing/business standards
Provide occasional consulting to subject‑matter experts on effective instructional techniques
Must‑have qualifications
Degree or diploma in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Marketing, Business, or related field
Minimum 2 years’ experience developing vocational or post‑secondary course materials in marketing or business
Strong grasp of adult‑learning theory and Ontario PCC compliance
Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Word; familiarity with an LMS or e‑learning tools (Articulate, Captivate)
Excellent writing, editing, and project‑management abilities
Nice‑to‑have
Portfolio of marketing/business course materials you can share immediately
Hands‑on experience in a marketing, sales, or business‑development role
Basic graphic‑design proficiency for creating professional handouts and infographics
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Benefits:
Casual dress
