Are you passionate about creating engaging social media content and love being part of exciting live events? WorldFest Canada’s first Multicultural Fusion Festival – is looking for a Social Media Volunteer to help us capture and share the vibrant energy of the festival in real time!
This is a volunteer position perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in live content creation, social media strategy, and event coverage.
What You’ll Do:
Film and post Instagram Stories, Reels, and live updates during the two-day festival
Conduct fun, short interviews with emcees, performers, and attendees
Capture behind-the-scenes moments, crowd energy, and key highlights
Work closely with the event organizer and media team to ensure consistent branding and messaging
What You’ll Gain:

Location: Sankofa Square (Yonge-Dundas Square), Toronto
Dates: July 19 & 20, 2026
Hours: Flexible shifts available throughout both days
Requirements:
Strong familiarity with Instagram (especially Stories & Reels)
Confident using a smartphone or camera to capture quality video
Friendly, energetic, and comfortable approaching people for interviews
Bonus if you have your own ring light or gimbal (not required)
Note: This is an unpaid volunteer role, ideal for students, aspiring content creators, or anyone looking to gain experience in event-based social media.
Job Types: Fixed term contract, Apprenticeship
Contract length: 2 days
Pay: $1.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 17 per week
