Tax Manager

Full job description
Our successful candidate will:

· Have an Education: B.S./B.A. in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent and CPA license.

· Have 7+ years of Public Accounting experience with a focus in Taxation.

· Be proficient in tax preparation, tax review procedures, and documentation standards; standard review procedures and practices of federal and state tax returns; and tax planning strategies.

· Enjoy mentoring and training staff.

· Demonstrate excellent client relations and verbal/written communication capabilities.

· Have flexibility, a team attitude, desire for growth, and exemplary client service.

· A detail-oriented approach to work, confidentiality, and good problem-solving skills.

· Be prepared to work independently, take ownership, provide critical thinking, and monitor deadlines.

· Must be proactive with recommending solutions when discussing issues, as applicable.

Proficiency in Trusts and Estates is a bonus.
