JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Admin. or completion in accounting courses

Yardi Voyager property management software a plus, but not req'd

Computer literate & knowledge of MS Office apps especially Excel, 10-Key by touch

Excellent oral/written communication skills

Extremely organized, proactive team player with a helpful friendly attitude

Must be detail oriented, able to prioritize, and multi-task

JOB DESCRIPTION

Each property accountant is responsible for all a/r's for a large portfolio of properties. This includes posting of monthly charges, entering cash receipts, NSF's, move-ins, transfers, security deposit refunds, utilities reimbursements, issuing statements, 3-Day notices, training resident managers on correct accounting practices and protocol. Other duties include general journal entries, a/p entires, general ledger analysis, bank reconciliations, preparation of financial statements, new acquisition set-up and other projects assigned as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
