About the role
As a Senior Accountant in our Business Advisory division, you will collaborate closely with our Managers and Directors to deliver quality accounting, tax, and business advice to our clients. Working with a collaborative team, you will provide guidance and review the work of junior team members. You will play a key role in fostering a high-performing working environment and delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Autonomously preparing and reviewing individual, company, trust and partnership financial statements and tax returns, as well as BAS’s for our more complex clients
Preparing budgets, management accounts, and cashflow forecasts across a various entity structures and industries, including involvement in regular client meetings to discuss
Producing financial reports, mainly using Xero and MYOB, including maintaining the clients accounting and reporting systems
Assisting with the coaching and development of junior team members
About you
The successful candidate will be a CA or CPA qualified accountant (or working towards), with relevant tertiary qualifications and experience within a public practice accounting firm. You will demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge to review work & provide quality solutions for your clients. Ideally, you will be driven, a strong collaborator and possess solid taxation knowledge.
The successful candidate will be proactive and personable, have a high level of attention to detail and big plans for your future!
