Canadian Armed Forces Primary Reserve (Part-time)

Only applicants aged between 16 and 57, A Grade 10 Level Education or Equivalent and Canadian Citizens/Permanent Residents will be considered at this time.

Join the 15th Field Artillery Regiment, The Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery as a Material Management Technician

The primary responsibilities of Materiel Management Technicians are to:

Manage the purchasing, warehousing, shipping, receiving, stock control and disposal of obsolete stock and equipment
Receive, handle and prepare items for shipment
Operate military vehicles weighing up to 10 tons and materials-handling equipment such as forklifts
Process invoices and prepare shipping documents
Order material from internal and external sources and purchase supplies
Deliver supplies and provide services to operational units
Perform recordkeeping, stocktaking and inventory control
Maintain accounting and financial records
Process and coordinate repair and disposal functions
Army Reservists typically serve one or more evenings a week and/or during weekends at locations close to home.

In order to apply you must:

Be 18 years of age (or 16 with parental consent)
Have minimum Grade 10 education
Be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Officer applicants are required to either possess or be in process of obtaining a University degree.

As a private recruit the pay rate is $127.22 for a full-day.

As a Corporal the pay rate goes up to $185.20 for a full-day.
