Our site Superalloys of Long beach, based in California specialises in the production of high-performance vacuum refined superalloys serving the aerospace, Industrial Gas Turbine, and automotive market.

Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a rewarding role in the exciting aerospace industry?

As a key member of the finance team, as the Cost Accountant, you will be assigned monitoring of material transactions, dana analysis and tasks to support sales and operations activities. You will support monthly and annual physical inventory, capital expenditures and assisting in audits.

We have an exciting opportunity for a cost accountant to join our busy Finance Team. Working as part of a small, but experienced, team you will complete a range of management and financial accounting activities.

This is a varied business support role allowing you the opportunity to work on a variety of activities independently and as part of a team:

Collecting and analyzing data about company's operational costs
Monitoring all material transactions (receipts/transfers/sales) to ensure the correct recording in Optimat
Carrying out cost-volume-profit analysis – by heat/alloy/customer
Supporting sales team with detailed cost analysis for customer quote
Collaborating with operation for scrap improvement and inventory reduction
Partnering with purchasing to assist material planning to ensure the proper cash outflow
Preparing monthly inventory account reconciliation
Responsible for annual physical inventory (counting/adjustment/reconciliation)
Recommending changes to the company's processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit
Managing capital expenditure (% of completion and payment reconciliation)
Assisting external/internal audit by preparing cost related schedules

Salary Pay Range: $90,000 to $105,000
