Qualification:

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
Minimum of 6 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally within corporate or public accounting settings.
Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and proficiency in financial reporting practices.
Skilled in using accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, and SAP.
Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, with a sharp eye for detail.
Strong capability in data analysis and resolving complex financial issues.
Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant plays a vital role in handling advanced financial operations, such as maintaining the general ledger, reconciling accounts, and overseeing the closing cycles. This role is instrumental in ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to internal controls and relevant regulations.

Prepare and review detailed journal entries, account reconciliations, and relevant documentation.
Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Compile financial reports in alignment with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Conduct financial analysis and present performance insights to key stakeholders.
Ensure strict compliance with internal accounting policies and regulatory standards.
Serve as a liaison during audits by coordinating with external auditors.
Maintain expertise in cost accounting practices and assess standard cost variances.
Assist in the development of budgets and creation of financial forecasts.
Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting procedures and systems.
Offer mentorship and technical support to junior accounting staff.
