PRIMARY ASSIGNMENTS:

Installing, repairing, and completing connections for sewer and water pipes, plumbing fixtures, and other systems.
Assist in exposing sewer and water services, including jackhammering and hand digging.
Assist in sewer and water line repair and replacement projects (CIPP, relining, sleeving, service pulls, open trench repairs, pipe bursting, etc.).
Identify and locate leaks.
Install backwater valves/ backflow preventers.
Complete thorough inspection and testing of plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance; including sewer pipe camera inspections and water line pressure testing.
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a clean abstract; personal reliable transportation.
Experience with residential plumbing. Knowledge of sewer and water line tie-ins, ability to conduct water meter moves, disconnecting and reconnecting hot water tanks and furnaces, installation of backflow preventers and other residential plumbing.
Experience with drain cleaning (augering and jetting) will be considered an asset.
Experience with CCTV sewer camera inspections will be considered an asset.
Understanding of, and adherence to construction procedure and safety practices.
Concrete (form, mixing, pouring), minor fill finishing, and basic landscaping.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
