Full job description
International Food Distributor is searching for a Chinese / English Bilingual Account Manager in the Calgary, AB area to travel and share their goods with the regional community. This role is perfect for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a passion for sales, and an interest in Asian food culture. You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with customers and vendors, presenting new products and sales performance reviews, and conducting market research on trends, products, and competitors.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with local channels, wholesalers, restaurants, hotels, and grocery stores to consistently exceed sales targets.
Travel to customer locations, resolve customers issues, and develop solutions
Determine customer requirements and propose appropriate service needs
Understand specifications for products, present to customers, and negotiate prices
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
Requirements:

Basic knowledge of Asian food products
Strong communication skills in both verbal and written
Japanese, Chinese, or Korean Bilingual language skill is preferred
Previous 1-2 years of B2B Sales experience
Must be able to travel on a regular basis
Must have a valid driver’s license
willing to travel up to 50% including overnight travel.
Perform tasks requiring standing for long time, walking, and lifting up to 25Kg along with close and distance vision capabilities and hearing capabilities.
