Job Summary
Design Exteriors Inc is an established construction firm in VAUGHAN, ON seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in various accounting software applications to facilitate efficient financial management. Female applicants will be preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the accounting department in daily operations, including accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliation.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Develop and manage budgets, providing insights on variances and financial performance.
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Oversee the implementation and use of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage to streamline processes.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support business decisions.
Ensure timely completion of month-end close processes and reporting.
Mentor and train accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
Proven experience in an accounting management role with a strong understanding of GAAP principles.
Proficiency in accounting software applications including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
Strong skills in budgeting, account reconciliation, payroll processing, and account analysis.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
