The role
Crown Sydney has a rare and exciting opportunity to join the property-based Marketing team as a Marketing Executive in a full-time, permanent capacity. Focussing on the Hospitality portfolio, this opportunity is perfect for a junior marketing professional to join an iconic business, where you’ll be involved in various activities that range from campaigns, activations, event planning, partnerships, EDMs, socials and digital – and leading all creative seen on property by our guests and members.
Crown Sydney’s Hospitality Marketing Executive supports a robust marketing calendar that supports the bar and restaurant portfolio including Icebergs Harbour Bar, Golden Century and Oncore by Clare Smyth, the Crown Sydney Hotel including 349 rooms and Australia’s only Forbes 5-star rated Spa. As a Marketing Executive you’ll get to experience and be a part of the action for all of them.
We’re looking for a marketing generalist who can build genuine relationships, collaborates with multiple stakeholders with ease, navigates obstacles with maturity, and who leans into challenges - but really sees them as opportunities. You’ll need to manage a wide range of priorities and senior stakeholder expectations, so strong communication skills, adaptability and excellent time management will be crucial to your success.
Some of the key responsibilities will involve:
Contributing to the development of the Hospitality marketing campaigns and planning
Planning content for hospitality promotions, offers and ticketed events (i.e copywriting, briefing creative and execution)
Briefing the Brand, Studio, Digital, Media and Social teams to setup promotions, offers and ticketed events
Engaging with legal and compliance teams to ensure that T&Cs are in line with legal and regulatory obligations and preparing risk assessments to ensure our activations are safe and compliant
Communicating campaigns and memos to wider business to action any key tasks prior to promotional/campaign activity
Working with Procurement where necessary to source prizes or offers for promotions
Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on initiatives delivered
General admin for the Marketing department (POs, invoicing and ensuring accounts are settled etc)
Budget management and ensuring costs are aligned to approved spend
You’ll have:
At least 2 years marketing experience (hospitality, hotels or retail preferred)
A deep passion for brand marketing with demonstrated success in driving results
Experience supporting, contributing to or managing integrated campaigns
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to liaise with all levels of stakeholders
Excellent skills in managing multiple projects, timelines and stakeholders in a high-pressure environment
A completed Marketing / Business degree OR demonstrated experience within the industry
Ability to work Monday – Friday, with the need to be available after hours and on weekends as required
Unrestricted and permanent Australian working rights
