NinjaHoldings is seeking a self-motivated, intellectually curious Staff Accountant who is interested in the opportunity to grow and learn as part of a dynamic team at the heart of NinjaHoldings' financial reporting function.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare journal entries, financial statement analysis, and account reconciliations
Support accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions
Reconcile high-volume cash transactions and research reconciling items in loan management system
Assist in the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures
Collaborate on the development of accounting for new products
Track real-time performance of the loan portfolio using SQL-based data visualization tools
Facilitate state and local tax return preparation and filing efforts
Help Accounting Managers and other team members on strategic projects

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
Minimum of 1 year of experience in public accounting or relevant industry experience
Certification or progress towards CPA
Strong quantitative analytical skills
Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, follow through to completion, and present conclusions of analysis in an organized and thoughtful manner
Additional Pluses, but not requirements:

Experience with SQL or other relational database tools
Tax experience
