The plumber at Canada’s Wonderland is responsible for maintaining and repairing the plumbing systems throughout the park. This includes water systems for rides, restaurants, restrooms, and other facilities within the park grounds. The role demands a high level of skill, precision, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to plumbing systems, ensuring safety and operational standards.
• Emergency Response: Respond quickly to plumbing emergencies to minimize impact on park operations and guest experience.
• System Installation: Assist with the installation of new plumbing systems for upgrades or new construction.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work complies with regulations and safety standards.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs, and prepare reports for management.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with maintenance teams and other departments to ensure smooth operations and communication.
Qualifications
• Experience: Proven experience as a plumber, with a background in maintaining large-scale or commercial plumbing systems. Experience in an amusement or public park setting is an asset but not required.
• Certification: A valid plumbing license or certification as required by provincial regulations.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Familiarity with a variety of plumbing tools and equipment.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, climbing, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent; further training or certification in plumbing is highly preferred.
