Plumber Drain Services Technician

Job description
Working under the supervision of our Plumbing Supervisors, our plumbers will assist our plumbing and CCTV crews with line flushing, various construction/plumbing activities and CCTV’ing of sewer and underground infrastructure. exposing underground utilities and backfilling / reinstating of various project sites.

Candidates must have flexible availability. Typical schedule is 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. After-hours service may be frequent and be available for standby every 2nd or 3rd weekend.

Key Responsibilities:
• Flushing of sewers
• Emergency Plumbing;
• Drain Service & Repair;
• Minor plumbing construction activities
• Operating equipment and tools
• Site preparation and clean-up as directed
• Securing and safely loading / unloading vehicles with supplies
• Secure work area and set up traffic control
• Other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
• To be consider for a position you must have a valid G Driver's License
• 306A License / Red Seal Mechanics is preferred.
• 1 year or more of plumbing experience.
• Experience with drain work/repairs
• Good verbal communication skills and able to work in TEAM environment
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English (French is an asset)
• Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs.
• Commitment to health and safety
• Ability to follow instructions
