Solar O&M Engineer [F-654]

Job description
A Solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) focused on delivering high-performance solar solutions for Commercial & Industrial (C&I;) clients looking for a reliable and proactive O&M; Engineer to ensure seamless operation, maintenance, and performance optimization of our rooftop solar installations.

Key Responsibilities:

•Execute preventive (AMC) and corrective maintenance of rooftop solar PV systems.

•Monitor system performance through remote portals and on-site inspections. Identify underperformance, faults, or areas for improvement and take corrective action.

•In case of system failures or performance issues, quickly identify, troubleshoot / repair the problems, including electrical faults, equipment malfunctions, and wiring issues etc.

•Ensure timely resolution of system issues to minimize system downtime.

•Prepare and submit report of maintenance activities to management and customer.

•Coordinate with vendors and technicians for repairs, replacements or module cleaning.

•Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, addressing O&M-related; queries and maintaining positive customer relationships.

•Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in solar energy systems to recommend improvements or upgrades.

•Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by the organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

•Diploma / Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2-5 years of experience in solar power projects O&M.;

•Solid understanding of solar PV systems and electrical components, ability to identify and troubleshoot the breakdown.

•Proven ability to optimize plant performance and to meet guaranteed generation to customer.

•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

•Willing to travel to various project sites as needed
