Ashton Plumbing, Heating & Mechanical is a rapidly growing business with over 20 years of experience in domestic and commercial heating, plumbing maintenance, and installations. Based in Chesterfield, we work nationally with a wide range of clients, including consultants, plant managers, single point contacts, and blue-chip companies.

Due to continued company expansion, we are looking for a reliable and experienced Plumbing & Gas Engineer to join our team and work on commercial installations and maintenance, particularly in shop-fitting environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Carry out plumbing and gas installations in commercial and shop-fitting settings
• Perform routine and reactive maintenance on plumbing and heating systems
• Ensure all work is completed in line with current industry regulations and company standards
• Communicate effectively with clients, site managers, and team members
• Accurately complete job documentation using the company-issued iPad
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
• Represent the company in a professional manner on all assignments

Daily Duties May Include
• Installing new heating systems and pipework in commercial premises
• Servicing boilers, gas appliances, and plumbing systems
• Identifying and resolving faults in gas and plumbing systems
• Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and onsite personnel
• Completing compliance paperwork and submitting job updates in real time
• Driving to and from job sites using a company van

Requirements
• Proven experience in plumbing and gas installations (commercial preferred)
• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Willingness to work away from home when required
• English language proficiency
