As part of the accounting team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the organization’s financial close process is accurate, timely, and repeatable. Working closely with the Controller, you’ll contribute to building and refining processes that enhance financial reporting integrity and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Work On

Full-cycle month-end and year-end close. Coordinate the monthly and year-end close schedule, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are assigned and tracked appropriately. Proactively communicate status updates and roadblocks to the Controller and relevant teams.

Prepare a variety of journal entries, including but not limited to payroll, revenue recognition, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses.

Accurately record accruals for expenses incurred but not yet billed.

Conduct detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to maintain integrity of financial data and identify errors or needed adjustments proactively.

Assist with external and internal audits by preparing audit schedules, providing documentation, and addressing auditor inquiries.

Identify process improvements and provide potential solutions

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

CPA or CPA track strongly preferred

4–8 years accounting experience

Mix of public accounting (audit) and private industry preferred

Strong GAAP knowledge

Strong communicator

Critical thinker

Expert ERP experience (Acumatica a plus)

Advanced Excel skills

Proactive and accountable

Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
