Finance Analyst

Location: Hybrid ways of working with visits to our office in Wimbledon as and when required.

Salary: Competitive

Contract Type: Permanent/Secondment Options available subject to interview stage

We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and hardworking individuals to join our Group Finance team as a Finance Analyst.

The role will business partner with the stakeholders who are budget holders to influence and control the achievement of budget targets. This is achieved by articulating implications of operational decisions, signing off on all recruitment and 3rd party spend, plus providing recommendations and feedback through quality reporting outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

Support budget process for c£100m of annual Opex spend Globally. This encompasses 1,500 FTE and 300 contract items.

Business Partner Functional leadership teams and provide quality financial analysis and recommendations to drive decision making.

Delivery of month end process and follow up commentary and reporting.

Reviews with budget holders to discuss performance and take corrective actions.

Responsible for budget approval in our design authority governance process and procurement contracting process.

Skills and experience required:

Part qualified ACCA/ CIMA or qualified by experience accountant.

Previous experience within a finance analyst/business partner role.

Knowledge of cost management & budgeting for FTE and 3rd party contracts

Own the month end process including accruals, prepayments and the output of commentary plus reports.

Strong accounting controls to deliver quality insights up to Senior Management level stakeholders.

Ability to influence stakeholders up to Senior Management on key decisions using insightful data and analysis.

Previous knowledge of Corporate Function Management Accounting would be highly beneficial in this role.
