developing and leading the department’s wider continuous improvement programme aimed at building quality policy practices and the capability of our policy staff
Our kaimahi come from multiple backgrounds and disciplines including strategy, policy, research, and planning, but all share a commitment to improving the lives of Aucklanders.
We deliver integrated, robust advice to decision-makers on issues such as protecting biodiversity, planning for the region’s long-term infrastructure needs, and providing vibrant, safe public spaces and community services for a fast-growing and changing population.
