Junior Interior Architect – Luxury Residential Design

We are currently seeking a Junior Interior Architect with proven experience in high-end residential design to join our Newport Beach studio. This is a hands-on role for a technically capable and creatively sharp individual who is passionate about luxury interiors, thrives under pressure, and is eager to support and enhance the design vision of our Principal. This person will provide essential support to the Studio Design Lead, assisting in technical documentation, project coordination, and design execution. This is an in-person opportunity and candidates should be available to work in the Newport Beach office daily, with occasional travel to the Beverly Hills office and client homes required. This position requires approximately 10-15% travel time, mostly within Southern California. Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for a designer who brings both technical accuracy and design sensitivity—someone who can receive creative direction and translate it into fully resolved, buildable solutions. This role is not for recent graduates; we require at least 3 years of professional experience in luxury interior design or architecture. The ideal candidate will have a well-developed eye for proportion, scale, and materiality and be confident drafting complete drawing sets for high-end residential projects. You are a collaborative worker and an effective communicator. You understand your first focus is to support the Studio Design Lead. You possess strong attention to detail and technical accuracy, as well as excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines. You take direction extremely well, listen well, and are mindful to ensure you’re adhering to existing firm philosophies. Above all, you are a team player who thrives in high pressure environments to meet deadlines with enthusiasm, steadiness and calm.
