Key Responsibilities:Finance & Accounting

Maintain and monitor accurate records of all financial transactions, including incoming and outgoing payments.
Prepare and manage company budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Liaise with the external accountant for tax returns, payroll, year-end accounts, and other statutory filings.
Ensure all supplier and partner payments are made accurately and on time.
Manage and reconcile bank accounts and financial records.
Oversee VAT processes including checking VAT reports, filing VAT returns, and addressing VAT queries from HMRC.
Prepare regular cash flow forecasts and financial reports for management.
Track receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.
Supplier & Logistics Coordination

Act as the point of contact for overseas suppliers via WeChat and email.
Prepare and manage import/export documentation such as packing lists, proforma invoices, commercial invoices, and shipping documents.
Coordinate container shipments and ensure timely delivery of stock.
Maintain records of incoming shipments and ensure stock levels are aligned with business needs.
Human Resources Support

Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including contracts and right-to-work checks.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies.
Assist in tracking employee leave, attendance, and payroll coordination with the accountant.
Help resolve staff issues and serve as a point of communication between management and employees.
General Administration & Operational Support

Maintain internal systems and databases with accurate and updated financial and operational data.
Support management in process improvement and operational planning.
Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Ensure compliance with business regulations and internal deadlines (e.g. filing confirmation statements, paying business rates, insurance renewals, etc.).
Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks and business support as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
