Job Title: Senior Mechanic Job Location: AL lith, Saudi Arabia Experience: 5-10 years Salary: 3500 SAR/Month + Allowances(FAT, Tickets, Insurance, paid vacations) Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Mechanic to join our fleet maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in diesel mechanics and extensive experience in overhauling CATERPILLAR engines, specifically the 35 series, as well as maintaining and repairing CAT dozers and excavators. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles, focusing on CAT dozers, excavators, and other heavy equipment. - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, specifically with CATERPILLAR engines, and perform necessary repairs and overhauls. - Conduct inspections and tests on engines and mechanical components to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety standards. - Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts used. - Collaborate with the fleet management team to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime. - Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working order and are used safely. - Train and supervise junior mechanics and provide guidance as needed. Mandatory Qualifications and Skills: - Diploma in Diesel Mechanics or equivalent certification. - Proven experience in overhauling CATERPILLAR engines, particularly the 35 series. - Strong background in maintaining and repairing CAT dozers and excavators. - Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs efficiently. - Excellent understanding of mechanical systems and components. - Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Desirable Qualifications and Skills: - Experience with fleet maintenance management. - Knowledge of hydraulic systems and dredge pump repair and maintenance. - Familiarity with maintenance of dredgers and related equipment. - Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
