About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic Student Counselor with excellent communication skills and a good understanding of the event management industry. The counselor will guide prospective students in choosing suitable academic programs, especially in the field of event management, while supporting them through the entire admission journey. This role demands a friendly personality with a passion for student welfare and career development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Counsel students about career options, especially in event management, and help them choose the right course.
• Handle admission inquiries via calls, emails, and walk-ins; convert leads into confirmed admissions.
• Conduct effective counseling sessions (telephonic and face-to-face).
• Explain course structures, fee details, scholarship options, and future career prospects.
• Maintain records of student follow-ups and interaction history.
• Coordinate with internal teams to achieve admission and outreach targets.
• Assist in organizing orientation sessions, open house events, and career guidance programs.
• Address student concerns or grievances professionally and empathetically.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred) in Education, Psychology, HR, or related fields.
• Prior experience in academic counseling or educational sales preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good awareness of the event management industry and current career opportunities in this field.
• Ability to build rapport with students and parents.
• Familiarity with MS Office, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.
• Comfortable with both English and Hindi (regional language is a plus).
