Junior Lab Technician - Placement Student

Job description
Marlowe Environmental Services are recruiting for a sandwich student who is looking to undertake their placement in a busy chemistry based laboratory.

What will you be doing?
• Quality control testing of chemical products
• Chemical analysis and reporting
• Troubleshooting and investigating issues in the field or in chemical products
• Project work
• Lab administration including report writing
• Calibration of lab equipment
• Prioritise and reprioritise a dynamic workload on a daily basis
• Undertaking a degree in Chemistry (or degree with high chemistry content)
• Health and Safety awareness.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Good knowledge of Microsoft packages
• Willing to relocate to Daventry for duration of the placement, or can commute to Daventry Monday-Friday for the duration of the placement.

You will receive a wide knowledge and experience, working within a small team. This will therefore provide insight and guidance to the career you would like to pursue, after Graduation.
• Salary dependant on experience.
