Part Time Nanny Needed Burwood, VIC 3125

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Term: The family are seeking a nanny that can work with them long term
Pay: $40/hr depending on experience

Days Hours: 3-4 mornings per week
Ideally looking for about 3-4 mornings per week 6/7 am - 11am/12pm (negiotiable)

Occasional weekend work will be offered from time to time.

Children: 1 child, just 2 years old (born June 2026)
Pets: Two friendly dogs (occasional walks required)

About the Role

A warm and professional family in Burwood is seeking a kind, honest, and reliable nanny to care for their toddler, three- four mornings per week. This role will provide essential support for the family and is ideal for someone who enjoys play-based interaction and creating a safe, calm environment.
Your Responsibilities

Engaging play and age-appropriate activities
Walking the child to and from childcare
Preparing nutritious meals (dairy, legume, soy peanut-free)
Light housework laundry, tidying play areas, clearing the dishwasher
Occasional dog walks

Ideal Nanny

The family is looking for someone who is:
Kind, honest, transparent, and dependable
Experienced with toddlers (formal qualifications would great but are not essential)
Preferably speaks Tamil or Sinhala but this is not essential
Confident in preparing basic allergy-friendly meals
Comfortable with dogs and light pet care
Ideally lives locally and can drive or easily access the home (no driving with the child is required)

Minimum Requirements

All applicants must:
Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
Hold a current Working With Children s Check
Have solid experience caring for toddlers and pre-school aged children (minimum 2yrs experience)
Have strong communication skills and speak fluent English
Be non-smoking
