Now Hiring: Adult and Further Education Trainer – Introduction to Home Services Course
OVERVIEW: The North Ringwood Community House Inc (NRCHI) is a not for profit community based organisation and a Registered Training Organisation. Programs and activities are developed according to local community needs and include accredited and preaccredited training in aged care and home services, short computer courses, a broad range of leisure & hobby courses, health & fitness classes and social groups. The Community House is an incorporated association and is governed by a voluntary Board of Governance.
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate trainer to deliver an ACFE-funded "Introduction to Home Services" course at our vibrant community house.
Details:
Location: North Ringwood Communty House
Rate: $45 per hour
Hours: 9:00am – 3:30pm
Duration: Casual basis over 11 weeks, from July to October (excluding school holidays)
About the Role:
This introductory course is designed to give adult learners foundational knowledge and skills for working in home and community care settings. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, supportive, and practical training to a small group of adult learners.
Key Selection Criteria:
Experience teaching adult learners, particularly those from CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) backgrounds
Experience in aged care, home services, or similar fields
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) – preferred
Certificate III in Individual Support – highly regarded
A passion for inclusive education and community engagement
A current National Police Check (mandatory)
