Life on the team
As the UK Tax Manager, you’ll join a forward-thinking, collaborative team that plays a vital role in shaping and safeguarding our financial landscape. You’ll be part of a supportive environment that values technical excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation — especially in the growing area of tax technology.

Our tax function is a key business partner, working closely with stakeholders across the UK and internationally to ensure compliance, manage risk, and provide strategic insights. You’ll be empowered to lead, influence, and drive real change, while mentoring a high-performing team and strengthening the visibility of the tax function across the business.

What you'll do
Lead UK tax compliance across VAT, corporation tax, payroll taxes, and tax accounting — ensuring accurate, timely submissions and best-in-class processes
Deliver high-quality advisory support, providing clear guidance on UK tax matters, VAT treatment, and contractual clauses
Be a key advisor to business stakeholders, combining technical insight with a strong understanding of risk and commercial priorities
Drive innovation through tax technology, managing tools such as Meridian, Alpha CT, and MTD platforms, and leading upgrade projects
Manage relationships with external advisors, ensuring value-driven collaboration and cost control
Provide coaching and guidance to team members in the UK and Hungary, building a culture of learning and collaboration
Champion process improvements, system optimisation, and the strategic evolution of tax operations

What you'll need
Proven experience in UK tax compliance and advisory across VAT, corporation tax, withholding taxes, and payroll taxes
A strong understanding of UK tax accounting and Transfer Pricing principles
Solid knowledge of tax technologies, with experience in managing systems like Meridian and Alpha CT
Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
A proactive mindset and analytical approach to problem-solving
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels
A collaborative leadership style, with a passion for mentoring and team development

Looking to take ownership, drive innovation, and lead in a critical finance role?
Join us and make your mark as a trusted advisor and change-maker at the heart of our UK tax operations.
