Location: SRC - ELA Chicago: EAST Los Angeles, CA

SALARY: Starting from $16/hour

PAY CYCLE: Weekly/Bi-Weekly

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Advance Nursing Services has been in existence for over five years and recruits on behalf of organizations who care for homeless families and individuals - We support the cause and fight to end homelessness! Our jobs focus on providing interim housing, nourishing meals and safe locations to empower our clients to find their “journey to home.”

Responsibilities
• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Qualifications or Requirements
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent or two years of security guard experience
• Valid security guard card
• Recent Physical Report within past year
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
• Work at an Interim Housing Location not an office
