Cleveland Medical is a modern, fast-paced and expanding private general practice, located in the beautiful bayside suburb of Cleveland. We are proud to offer compassionate, patient-centred care supported by a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

We're currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Medical Receptionist to join us in a casual role with the option to transition to part-time, on a flexible roster (likely looking at ~25 hours / week).


What You’ll Be Doing

As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent patient experiences. Your duties will include:

Greeting and assisting patients in a professional and caring manner
Scheduling appointments and managing the appointment book
Handling phone and email enquiries
Processing billing, Medicare claims and EFTPOS payments
Maintaining accurate patient records
Supporting doctors and nurses with administrative tasks
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in medical reception or healthcare administration
Excellent organisational and customer service skills
Strong verbal and written communication
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
Experience with Best Practice Software (desirable but not essential)
A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a busy team environment
Flexibility to work a variable roster, including potential holiday and sick leave coverage
