The Role:

Reporting to the Distribution Manager, this role supports the Logistics function within our Crestmead team to ensure large volume customised orders are despatched in a safe and timely manner across the shift.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Day-to-day operational despatch readiness of customer orders.
Operation of counterbalance and twin tyne forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment as required to prepare loads and ensure timely distribution.
Ensuring that all delivery loads are ready for dispatch, with correct packaging, labelling and completed paperwork.
Ensure a high level of safety; overseeing the cleanliness of equipment and bays, codes of practice, and follow relevant procedures.
Find opportunities for continuous improvement by regularly reviewing procedures to assist in initiating new procedures.
Uphold and adhere to company policies and procedures in Environmental, Health and Safety and HACCP.
What You Will Bring to the Team:

Experience in a similar role, within Consumer Goods or Manufacturing.
Current Forklift Ticket with experience loading and unloading trucks.
Have a strong attention to detail.
Sound understanding of transport logistics, freight, and delivery services.
Great work ethic with the ability to work autonomously or part of a team.
Adhere, uphold, and maintain OHS policies and procedures.
