The Role
We are currently looking for a Trade Mark Administrator to join our highly regarded IP Technology & Regulatory team in Adelaide on a casual, flexible basis, with the opportunity to work 20-30 hours per week. Successful candidates will have strong skills in process driven work, great communication and thrive in a high volume environment.
We are primarily seeking law students in their first or second year who have an interest in IP law and who would appreciate gaining practical administrative and legal experience while they continue with their studies, within a flexible and supportive working environment.
Tasks in this challenging and rewarding role include:
Keeping our financial and client databases up to date
Processing payments and external invoices, including foreign currency invoices
Preparing various reports and forms relating to the invoicing process
Monthly and ad hoc invoicing
Creating new files and attending conflict checks
Daily monitoring of trade mark correspondence
Assisting the trade mark team in day to day correspondence and database management
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will:
Enjoy a fast paced, collaborative team environment
Have the ability to follow processes and meet tight deadlines
Be known for your attention to detail and excellent time management skills
Be able to coordinate and prioritise work and enjoy the challenge of shifting priorities
Be able to efficiently navigate databases and electronic file management systems
Have exceptional communication and written skills
Enjoy working in a professional services environment
