Roles & responsibilities:

Meeting Room Technician – Tier 2

The position entails troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and upgrading Meeting Room Technology, including Crestron equipment, laptops/desktops, audio processors, cameras, microphones, and related software. Key responsibilities include providing VIP support, multitasking, and adapting to changing priorities, as well as working with Microsoft Teams Room Systems and basic networking. The technician will conduct room checks to ensure equipment functionality, deliver concierge service in meeting rooms, and collaborate remotely with other technicians for audio-visual troubleshooting. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills, along with a focus on customer experience and a willingness to learn, are essential for success in this role.

- Provide dedicated VIP support (when required) to ensure a seamless experience.

- Demonstrate the ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities effectively.

- Proficient in Crestron and BIAMP systems.

- Experience with Microsoft Teams Room Systems.

- Solid understanding of Windows 10/11 operating systems.

- Basic networking knowledge.

- Deliver concierge-level service in meeting rooms.

- Quick learner with a strong aptitude for acquiring new skills.

- Conduct thorough room checks to verify equipment functionality.

- Excellent troubleshooting abilities to resolve technical issues efficiently.

- Strong communication skills with a commitment to enhancing the customer experience.

Experience:

- 5+ Working with Crestron equipment and configurations.

- 2+ years working with Biamp DSP’s

- 3+ in Customer facing role.

- 4+ AV Installation experience.

Successful candidates will have a strong ability to troubleshoot Audio/Visual problems and pivot priorities as issues arise.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
