Full job description
Mustang Freightways is looking for a Part Time Forklift Operator/Dock Worker the successful candidate should be available to work Tuesdays & Thursdays from 16:00 – 22:30 Mondays & Fridays from 18:00 – 22:30.

We are a diversified, general freight carrier offering both LTL & TL services in Alberta and British Columbia. At Mustang, our team takes pride in its service-excellence, to meet and exceed our customer expectations

As a Part Time Forklift Operator/Dock Worker you will work on a fast-paced cross dock, and be involved in:

Loading and unloading 53-foot van trailers, or flat decks
Sorting freight to be loaded
Operating a forklift
Manual lifting, up to 50 lbs.
Cubing freight
Cleaning and organizing the dock
Freight manifesting
Other duties as assigned
We are looking for someone who has:

2-5 years’ experience operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift
A general knowledge of the transportation industry
Experience loading and unloading LTL trailers using a forklift
Experience handling dangerous goods considered an asset
Basic computer skills are required
Strong command of the English language
A positive attitude
