Redi Mix Driver

Job description
LaPrairie Works Inc., leader in highway and bridge maintenance and civil construction in Alberta is looking for an experienced Redi Mix Driver to be part of the and join our well-established concrete and aggregate division in Slave Lake, Alberta.

Responsibilities
• Ensure safe work operations and full compliance to operating procedures.
• Drive and operate the truck to transport materials to and from job site.
• Receive directions from site foreman regarding day-to-day operations and tasks.
• Pre & post inspection checks of the equipment.
• Maintain accurate records in equipment log.
• Responsible for and/or assists in fueling and filling all the fluids in the equipment to the right level. Quantity of fuel and fluids must be reported in the inspection log.
• Assist in the maintenance works of the equipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices at worksites and on equipment.
• Prepare and submit required daily reports.
• Perform other functions as needed.

Qualifications
• Must possess a valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license and a clean drivers abstract.
• Concrete experience is an asset, not required.

Additional Information
• Willing and able to work weekends as required by the business.
