Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Duties

Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety guidelines.
Support the team during meal service by plating dishes and ensuring timely delivery to dining areas.
Participate in daily cleaning tasks to uphold health and safety standards in the kitchen.
Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus but can be taught on the job.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed in the kitchen environment.
