About Us

Baklawa King is Canada’s premier destination for authentic Middle Eastern sweets. We specialize in handcrafted baklawa and pastries made fresh daily using premium ingredients like California pistachios and Jordanian walnuts. As we expand, we’re looking for an skilled Operations Manager to lead our growing team and ensure smooth, high-quality operations across all locations.

What You’ll Do

Oversee daily operations of retail stores, cafés, and production facilities
Manage inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships
Implement and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (HACCP)
Lead, train, and support staff across multiple locations
Monitor KPIs and implement process improvements
Coordinate logistics for local and North American deliveries
Support new store openings and expansion initiatives
Execute company-wide marketing plans and collaborate with customer service teams
What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in operations management overseeing multiple locations in the food service industry or franchise environment
Must be proficient in both English and Arabic
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control (HACCP)
Experience with inventory and POS systems
Passion for high-quality food and cultural authenticity
