Job Description:
Wet n Wild Toronto is seeking qualified individuals to fill the position of Maintenance Pool Technician for the upcoming season. As a Pool Chemistry Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable aquatic experience for our guests by maintaining the pool water and related systems.

Responsibilities:1. Pool Water Analysis:
Perform regular testing of pool water parameters including pH, chlorine, and alkalinity levels.
Record and document all testing results accurately.
2. Chemical Treatment:
Adjust chemical levels as needed to maintain optimal water quality for swimming.
Administer other chemical treatments to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the pool.
3. Equipment Maintenance:
Conduct minor repairs on pool equipment, including the replacement of filters and pumps.
Monitor and troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure proper functionality.
4. Pool Area Maintenance:
Clean and maintain the pool deck and surrounding areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
Perform routine inspections to identify and address any potential safety hazards.
5. Communication:
Report all findings and maintenance activities to the Director of Maintenance.
Collaborate with other team members to address any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in pool maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of pool water chemistry and treatment procedures.
Ability to perform minor repairs on pool equipment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording testing results.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Work Environment
This position requires occasional work in or around water, confined quarters, heights, loud environments, moving objects and large crowds. A successful candidate will be able to work in all weather conditions, including vast temperatures and weather conditions.
