Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks in a fast-paced dental office environment. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for patients.

Duties

Greet patients warmly as they arrive and assist them with check-in procedures.
Schedule appointments efficiently and manage the dental office calendar.
Handle incoming phone calls, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) using software such as Dentrix or Epic.
Process patient information and insurance details accurately to ensure seamless billing.
Coordinate with dental staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and communication.
Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are readily available.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining a clean front desk area.
Skills

Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a medical or dental office.
Proficiency in electronic medical records systems, particularly Dentrix and Epic.
Strong understanding of phone systems and excellent communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient files and scheduling.
Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy environment.
Familiarity with administrative procedures specific to dental practices is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00-$27.94 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 23 per week
