We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our team, responsible for constructing and assembling frameworks for various building projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of carpentry and construction techniques, with the ability to work with both hand and power tools. This role requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and an eye for detail to ensure precision in all work.

Responsibilities

Assemble and fabricate wooden structures, including walls, roofs, and floors.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete framing tasks.
Ensure all frames are plumb, square, and level according to specifications.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians and masons, to ensure seamless integration of systems within the structure.
Perform heavy lifting as required during the construction process.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections of materials and structures to ensure quality standards are met.
Experience

Proven experience as a Framer or in a similar carpentry role is preferred.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, and chisels, as well as power tools like drills and nail guns.
Familiarity with joinery techniques and masonry work is advantageous.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Strong physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking on-site.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
