Experienced Barista/ Café All-rounder / Front of House

We are a small, fun and energetic coffee shop, located in Mermaid Beach and we are looking for reliable and self motivated casual staff to join our team.

If you feel like you have what it takes - you must be available and prepared to work early mornings (open at 5.30am) on both weekday and weekend shifts.

The right candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment, have excellent barista skills and a broad hospitality skill set. You must also be able to work in a team and show initiative. Please note that experience is a must, so please do not apply if this does not fit your previous experience.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Customer service
Barista
Order taking
Food preparation
Cold drink preparation
Maintaining regulated cleaning charts
Multitasking
Working a fast paced environment
Opening and closing procedures
To be considered for the role you must:

Be punctual and positive
Have experience in a fast paced environment.
Strong, solid barista skills minimum 2 years experience
High attention to detail and cleanliness
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and mornings.
Self motivated
Confident and well spoken
Well presented
Own transport - early 5.30am starts
You will be part of a rotational, flexible roster ensuring all staff have access to time off when applicable. Hours may vary from 4-8 hours a day shifts.
Job Type: Casual

Pay: $25.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
