We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and a desire to grow.

This position is responsible for applying an accounting education and an interest in information technology to assist with accounting projects that use technology to perform a significant portion of the project.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing various tasks associated tax return engagements, specifically individual tax and trust tax.

Can utilize various accounting software to pull client information
Ability to adhere to deadlines and prioritize appropriately
Help assess and prepare a projection of expected tax liability
Prepare individual tax returns (1040)
Prepare trust tax returns (1041)
Serve as a supervisor to new staff
Ability to recognize the need for an amended return and assist with preparation as needed
Assist with client tax notices
Ability to research new tax situations
Ability to stay up to date on changing tax laws
Strong communication and organization skills
Attentive to detail
A willingness to adapt and embrace new software
Ability to commute or relocate to Concord, NH
Other duties as assigned by management
Required Qualifications

CPA or EA designation
Degree in Accounting or relevant experience
Public accounting experience
Ability to manage client relationships
A strong interest in pursuing a career in public accounting
An interest in applying information technology to an accounting environment
