Melbourne Pathology is one of Victoria’s largest diagnostic pathology laboratories, committed to providing high quality healthcare throughout metropolitan Melbourne, regional Victoria and interstate.

A vacancy exists for a full time Payroll Support/Administrator.

Duties will include:

Ensuring the correct payment of entitlements for all relevant Awards and agreements
Experience in ichris and end-to-end payroll processing
Maintenance of employee payroll information, e.g. leave requests, terminations and employee details
Monitoring payroll related calculations including gross salaries, superannuation, tax and novated leases
Maintaining an understanding of changes and amendments to payroll due to legislation changes and policies
Appropriately responding to enquiries from employees and managers
Co-ordination and assistance with implementation of new HR and Payroll programs
Preparation of compliance reporting data for government agencies and external organisations
Ad hoc administrative tasks where required including follow up of previous employees and work cover claims
Working within the Recruitment Management System (RMS) with the onboarding and cessation administration of new and terminated employees
Assisting with ELMO (Sonic Healthcare Learning Management System) as required
Providing support to Payroll office when required
The successful applicant must have excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills, a high level of customer service and communication skills, show good initiative, be enthusiastic to learn, and have excellent time management. Confidentiality is extremely important in this role.

A knowledge of ELO would be advantageous and previous experience implementing payroll systems, but not essential. A qualification in Business/Accounting/HR is highly desirable.
